Comparatively, a typical single-family home has an STC rating of 45 to 50.

To achieve an STC of 68, our sound wall is comprised of 8” masonry block with two 3/4” X 11/2” PT pine furring with 1/2” sound board and 1/2” drywall with R-4.1 Fi-Foil insulation on both sides of the block.
